I am reposting this poem because I have a couple of points to go with it. Btw, this is based on stuff I have heard guys say when they thought I wasn't listening.

First point is this: A guy who gets burned never ever wants to admit it.

Second point: Unless the guy was playing some kind of game with the woman.

Which one of those is a man more likely to admit?



Yeah, sure, his friends
believed him
when he said
that he never wanted that anyway.

Ha! They just downed
another bottle,
traded gems,
talked about their next play,

All the while
thinking
what they would have done
in his shoes that day.
