it?

she

he

throw
fire.

Building trust
brick by brick,
the cornerstone
laid firmlywith a truth

that no one else has offered.

For that gift, I roll up my sleeves,
get on my knees, mindless of the mortar
and the sweat in my eyes, wielding my
