weave curtains and nets
then place their bets
on naive sluts

like a Roman advance
conquer the worm
vanquish with poem
force my hands

rolling thunder
to my core, vibrations,
I need representations
your intent to plunder

a word, a kiss
a desire to write
a hurt to right
the fates' miss

i need you to take
a chance on wrong
an off key song
and poetry make

with me

Freedom's Bell remembers
forgotten tolls,
rings with fresh vigor.

Solitude's promise
calls joyfully
as crushing loneliness
fades into dusk.

Stars flicker with hope,
with dreams.

At night,
when normal beings
rest their weary bodies,
embrace slumber,

This poet dances in the heavens.
