Cause I'm 'part,' Puerto Rican.

Guess that's why
I didn't think too, too much
about repeating (only to my friend)
a comedian's stuff.

Guess that's why
I wanted my group to know,
to be ready for when it's serious,
cause things haven't changed enough.

But sometimes
I wonder why, some things 'aren't right'
To my non-Puerto Rican family,
yet they complain about Hispanics.

The air down South there
Was too thick to breathe,
It's a lot easier up here.
One more reason to leave.
