Earlier than I wanted to be up,
but wide awake, I slip outside.
Stars wave their silent greeting
as cotton clouds careen gracefully beneath.
As if the lights dimmed not,
but lit up for an instant,
I feel more awake,
Already know, question anyway;
Yes, there is the electricity again,
trying to come back on,
outside.
Pretty, dangerous.
Fourth try is all around me.
I go inside.
